Rock Iowa

Another Nebraska transplant from Omaha, Andrew grew up only listening to gospel, motown, and oldies. So he listens to KIOA alot. He's still one of the whitest kids you'll ever know. He's a freelance videographer and editor and user of Apple Final Cut Studio 2. He reads alot of CS lewis and just started to plant tomatoes.

The Lemmings invited us out to their show at Vaudeville Mews. We shot a few tunes and did up an interview. They talk about the high school music scene, their influences and inspirations (including The Envy Corps) and more.

There’s a whole teen rock band scene we did not really know about til we caught the Naked Station on Scented Vinyl at Mars Cafe. Played some fun tunes and talked about civil rights

 

 

Andy and Barrett of Same Sick Feeling gave us a minute to talk their recent tour, the 620 house, and pretending to sing. Then they rocked it. Check it.

We hit up a house show this last weekend put on by the guys in Same Sick Feeling and Studio!Studio!. Opening the show was Here’s My Chance. They play some slick punk rock tunes and we caught an interview with their singer Clayton. Enjoy!
