Rock Iowa

Scott Kubie is a producer and videographer from Blair, Nebraska. He received a BA in Journalism from Drake University. While at Drake, Scott began Rock Iowa as a student television program. He served as President of Student Activities and booked concerts and entertainment for the student body. He later served on the board of directors for the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition and was appointed their Executive Director. Currently, Scott is co-owner of The Revue Creative, a video marketing and event planning agency with his partner, Keri. He volunteers for the DMMC and lives in the Drake neighborhood.

We caught up with KaiserCartel at Vaudeville Mews after missing an interview at 80/35. They put on a great show at Vaudeville and luckily we got some video of it! Performance vid coming soon.

MGMT and locals Radio Moscow October 1st at People’s Court. First Fleet Concerts and People’s have really stepped up their game lately and are bringing some great shows to town. We’re particularly excited about this one. The details:

Passing on a release we got regarding the new upcoming record from Josh Davis Band. They are one of the acts on Authentic Records, home to the Nadas and lots of other great alt-country and roots/indie acts. Hopefully we can score a video with these guys sometime soon.
