Video: Poison Control Center and Guests

Ok we’ve been holding out on you. We’ve had some really good videos that we’ve been holding onto and haven’t released yet. But I can’t hold this in any longer.

Because we caught Patrick of Poison Control Center opening for the then-touring Beati Paoli. PCC is one of the best bands in the Midwest, let alone Iowa. With plenty of tour experience and a solid sound, PCC has been making a name in the music industry. They’ve played CMJ, Athens Popfest, and many others as well as 80/35.

Normally, PCC is a four-piece, but only Patrick could make it with the help of their touring drummer Chris (of Chris the Conquered). But even being a duo, PCC can still rock it as they busted out with their recent single “Glory Us” from an EP of the same name.

You’ll be sure to hear all their hits, but a PCC show is always memorable for the on-stage ”chandelier swingin” moves, banter between songs and all the special guest appearances (whether they knew it or not). Daniel Bosman of Scented Vinyl and Ladd Askland of Barely Bias Records got called up by Patrick to belt out another classic, Don’t Go!
