Buy Local: Vintage Vitae Grand Opening on Saturday

Remember the sweet fashion show video from the tattoo fest? Of course you do, of course you do. Well, some of the cool kids from that show including rok:her:roots, Pink Revolver, and Magpie are teaming up with Barbarella and Acanthus at the new and improved Vintage Vitae in the Western Gateway (think 80/35) area of Des Moines. They’re having a grand opening celebration this Saturday, September 27, from 5pm-9pm. There will will be art, music, and, of course, fashion. Scott Kubie

Scott Kubie is a producer and videographer from Blair, Nebraska. He received a BA in Journalism from Drake University. While at Drake, Scott began Rock Iowa as a student television program. He served as President of Student Activities and booked concerts and entertainment for the student body. He later served on the board of directors for the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition and was appointed their Executive Director. Currently, Scott is co-owner of The Revue Creative, a video marketing and event planning agency with his partner, Keri. He volunteers for the DMMC and lives in the Drake neighborhood.
