Little Big Fest Announcement
80/35 success aside, the Little Big Fest (along with the GDP) is the best collaboration of bands here in Des Moines. So keep your entire Nov. 29th (and maybe 30th) open. Focusing on jam, reggae, bluegrass, and alternative country bands, the DMMC is looking for band submissions until Sept 19th. Many bands we feature here are likely candidates.

Bands, if you need help getting your press kits together. Or you want to add video/photos/press releases/graphic design, hit us up with a comment.
For the love of God, put something coherent together if you’re submitting for this festival. A NICE photo, a CD or links to songs they can download or an EPK (MySpace can be finnicky, especially if yours is designed with some gimmicky PimpMyProfile type deal), and don’t send them things like “we’re playing another show down the street at 5 so can we play later?”.

If any bands need help getting their act together to submit to this or any other fest drop us a line and we’ll see if we can help. We’ve got photogs, designers, etc. I write a great press release, too.
