We’re Live!

Checking in live from 80/35. The Internet connection is iffy right now, here’s hoping we can get a wired line dropped in or there’s going to be a lot of praying and swearing involved in getting videos uploaded. Andrew has already shot some interviews with crazy Lips fans decked out in appropriate costumage. Dig Angees are coming by around 4, Des Moines Boyz around 6, a couple of other bands in between and we’re going backstage with Cracker right after their set.

Scott Kubie is a producer and videographer from Blair, Nebraska. He received a BA in Journalism from Drake University. While at Drake, Scott began Rock Iowa as a student television program. He served as President of Student Activities and booked concerts and entertainment for the student body. He later served on the board of directors for the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition and was appointed their Executive Director. Currently, Scott is co-owner of The Revue Creative, a video marketing and event planning agency with his partner, Keri. He volunteers for the DMMC and lives in the Drake neighborhood.
