Live at 80/35 - Ezra Furman and the Harpoons

In all the hubub we neglected to get this one posted yesterday. One out of 17+ ain’t bad, right? Not to mention a few hundred Flickr photos. Since it’s after the fact this one should look a bit prettier. I’m sitting down and doing color correction and nice, slow, high quality encodes or re-encodes of all the video. You may notice that the 80/35 videos are a bit blockier compared to other stuff we have posted in the past. Nerd moment: we used the sorenson spark codec in the field because it’s a lot faster encode, but it doesn’t look as nice and the files are larger. The new encodes will all be in on2, which takes longer but looks way better. Please think kind thoughts of my laptop as it begins a good day or two of churning through all of these encodes.

Anyway, enjoy this video of Ezra and Adam from Ezra Furman and the Harpoons. It jumps in in the midst of them talking about what makes their band theirs…

Check out the video after the jump.
