8035 Lineup Strengthens
The second lineup announcement for the 2009 80/35 Music Festival was just announced live over video webcast.
New additions include:
Canada’s indie collective Broken Social Scene and warpainted Man Man are the big names.
Followed up by indie sweethearts Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos, the haunting Wild Sweet Orange, and Omaha’s Tilly and the Wall.
New Monsoon keep a strong jam flavor to the festival.
The eclectic additions of rock/soul/country misfit Miss Derringer and the salsa and african drum infused The Occidental Brothers
Finally Radiohead-vibed Audrye Sessions and locals The Dig Angees.
These additions really will sure up the indie base that got this festival going, keep the jam band fans happy, and bring a little spice and salsa to the fest. Should be an even better year than last.
