Cityview announced its Best of 2009 awards last week, with honors for a myriad of accomplishments. Voters decided on the winners for dozens of categories, from Best Strip Club to Best Place for Miniature Golf. And it seems that Rock Iowa keeps good company. The Nadas scored the title of Best Local Band, and Daniel Bosman of Scented Vinyl snagged Best Radio Personality. Our own Cat Rocketship was named Best Local Artist, and Rock Iowa haunt Mars Cafe managed to take home a number of titles, including Best Coffeehouse!
