GDP Lineup Announced

The Des Moines Music Coalition‘s showcase of punk, rock, and indie bands, Gross Domestic Product, has been officially stocked with a fine crop of some of the finest bands in Iowa. Taking place at the Hotel Fort Des Moines (just like Little Big Fest), bands like The Envy Corp & The Autumn Project along with 12 other bands from the area will get to strut their stuff and showoff the great music being played here in Iowa. Previous GDPs have help jumpstarted bands for regional and national touring and spawned antics like the chandelier incident.  My only question would be the lack of non-Des Moines and Ames bands in the lineup. Having said that, this is one of the tightest group of bands you’ll see all year (and maybe even 80/35? well maybe until they start announcing names).

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 22nd at 10 a.m. at IowaTix.com for $10 and day of tickets will sell for $15. Here’s the schedule:
